V.A. Transportation Network Foundation is a federal and state recognized 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization whose sole goal and commitment is to provide FREE transportation service to all United States Military Veterans of past and present conflicts who are homeless, indigent and are in need of transportation to any of their critical care medical appointments; whether it be for dialysis, chemotherapy, PTSD therapy, rehabilitation, low-vision etc., within the NJHCS of the Department of Veterans Affairs. In the near future we will also be implementing transportation for our vets to their employment job sites; for they have selflessly dedicated their time, effort, and lives for the greater good of not only our country, but the entire world, are deserving of our FREE transportation services. This organization provides this car/transportation service TOTALLY FREE OF CHARGE to all of these men and women because of the unique challenges they face every day, by safely, quickly, and reliably transporting them to and from their place of residence or shelter, to all Veterans Affairs Medical appointments, to various locations which include but are not limited to other doctors appointments, rehabilitation and physical therapy treatments….. (Veterans who are not eligible for BENE-TRAVEL through the Dept.of V.A. and who are totally indigent qualify for our FREE service)…..
V.A.T.N.F. exclusively employs only Military Veterans as drivers for our transportation services and eventually into management positions; essentially, creating a job market exclusive for our Veterans. We are committed to making our transportation services the highest standard in transportation available today through personalized attention and utilization of the most advanced technology, while maintaining the utmost professionalism and compassion for all our military clients. V.A.T.N.F.’s more immediate goals include, relieving the pain and uncertainty of these veterans and their family’s by working with the VA hospitals, community based outpatient clinics (CBOC’s) and VA centers throughout the state in order to offer our services to all those in need because of their physical well-being, which include the homeless veterans; and the elderly veterans who are no longer able to drive. Ultimately we are committed to strengthening the good of the community as well as informing the public of the needs of our nation’s hero’s…..
V.A.T.N.F. will working closely with the Mental Health Department of the VA Health Care System of New Jersey to assist the homeless veterans with getting their lives back on track by providing our car services FREE of charge for these certain individuals by taking them for their necessary paperwork (eg: drivers licenses, social security cards, birth certificates, etc.). V.A.T.N.F. will provide our service for these individuals to get back and forth to their employment job sites to streamline them back into society again…..
In order to maintain operations V.A. Transportation Network Foundation is hopeful to be corporately funded and sponsored; however, we will always accept your monthly and annual donations. Along with the need for monetary donations, V.A.T.N.F. also relies on in-kind donations of equipment and vehicles. We are always in need of vehicles of any kind, fuel cards, as well as office space and equipment, we are in need of computers and other supplies. All donations are tax-deductible as provided by law and go to a greater cause. As stated earlier all of our drivers are exclusively Military Veterans that are paid a salary through your donations. Any assistance, be it a donation of any kind or a simple fund-raising volunteer effort is greatly appreciated…..
